We have successfully been working with Jakub Hiterski of Justycja for a number of years. Jakub and his colleagues have been able to assist many of our Eastern European clients. In particular, we have acted on behalf clients who have been mis-sold payment protection insurance. Having the advantage of speaking the clients’ native tongue, Justycja often acts as the first point of contact for all legal matters. Their role is to appropriately assess the nature of the client’s problem and liaise with appropriate legal specialist. For instance, if you are looking to purchase commercial or residential property, our partners at Justycja will take some background information and will assist you during meetings with our solicitors.
We have a varied practice dealing with all aspects of property purchase, which can sometimes be daunting even for native English speakers! We pride ourselves in taking a personable approach to clients dealing with property for the first time. We also deal with re-sales, re-mortgages and are members of the Glasgow Solicitors Property Centre – which is the single largest property marketing network in West Central Scotland.
Naturally, we are more than happy to deal with small and medium size businesses in regard to commercial transactions and in particular we deal with commercial leases and small business purchases. We always assign each case to one of our solicitors who would remain your individual contact and assist you in having the best start in your business venture.
One of the key features of our approach to business is that we undertake considerable amounts of home visits for incapax/infirm/elderly clients throughout Glasgow and the West of Scotland and Central Belt regions.
This can range from preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate work to Guardianship work. We are instructed by several local authorities in these matters.
Furthermore, we deal with Family Law cases, namely, divorce and contact and residence, which is particularly troublesome if you are comparatively new to the country.
This firm also has a litigation practice. We can sue or defend cases. We can also deal with tenancy cases whether defending an unreasonable order for eviction or indeed trying to evict errant tenants.
We believe we are a progressive firm. We have weathered the credit crunch well due to our increasing desire to develop and progress our practice.
